I know
I am going to run the risk of losing my alone time with my favorite hair stylist, however I owe the YELP community for all
the on point reviews...
Let me start with the particulars, I am an Asian female and a
self-confessed salon junkie with 20 years of experience of self-dabbling in coloring my own hair and visiting dozens of salons
with so called "Master Colorists, Master Stylists", trying to get my hair that perfect hue of blonde color that
I envisioned. My most recent color experience at a local salon turned out to be the worst color frightmare I have had
in my 20 years of being an expert salon consumer. Long story short, I had disastrous results that resulted in 4-5 inches of
damaged hair, multiple colors with levels of different hair products fighting against each other, and did I mention a sizably
reduced bank statement.
Then I went to Mark Bursick of The Falls Salon
in Great Falls, VA. Lucky for me, Mark is always up for a challenge; and equally lucky for me, he excels where all
others fail. Not only did Mark reverse my recent color disaster effortlessly , he was very patient with me and was able
to get my hair back to looking beautiful and the color PERFECT in just one visit. He also cut my hair EXACTLY the way
I wanted. This man truly knows what he is doing, many stylists boast that they are 'color experts/masters' but so far, Mark
is the only one who lives up to the hype. Mark is truly a MASTER COLORIST/STYLIST. Guess that's what you get when you cross
a highly motivated hair artist with a collegiate art major - perfection.
In
closing, you cannot go wrong with Mark and his salon. The salon experience is truly fantastical. He, along with his staff,
is patient, professional, experienced. Mark is an all around great guy and he genuinely cares. Kudos Mark, you will
always have my sincerest gratitude, and I will continue as a patron for as long as you will have me; even though I pass literally
dozens of "master color salons" on my 45 minute journey to your establishment. Well worth the trip. Thank
you, Mark. I will post pictures of my new do shortly...

FABULOUS experience. My girlfriends and I were
warmly welcomed by the Falls staff. We all got our hair and makeup done. The makeup was understated and beautiful. The hair
- exactly what we wanted. The prices, friendly service and the talented staff all add up to a salon that can be trusted.
THE BEST HAIR ARTISTS:
You
will not believe your hair after Mark brings out your bodacious brunette or blonde, or treats it to take out the frustrating
frizz. He is an all-around artist, and their products are superb.
Ignorance is NOT bliss! The best kept secret in town is the pampering I get from Body Bliss at The Falls
Salon. The deep tissue massage at the hands of Julian is the ultimate in tension relief (from stress and too many airports).
The fabulous facial by Rachel brought my skin back to life and hydration. In fact, my face is smooth as a baby's
(well--you know!). If life's pressures and the weather are chaffing you, I recommend Julian and Rachel to melt
it away. Take my word, but not MY appointment slot!!!

I just had the Keratin smoothing treatment done on my hair at the Falls Salon.
My hair has been a serious nightmare for me every summer my entire life.
The
Washington humidity makes it a fright.
But now my hair is smooth and shiny. The color even lasts
longer.
i have to say that the three day wait to shampoo was a challenge but now
it
was worth the trouble.
I'll never let my hair go without that treatment. Thanks guys for recommending
this service. WOW!

make you feel so special every time you come in.
I love letting everyone know where they should go to

I first stepped into The Falls Salon in 2002 after a dear friend
and boss gave me a gift certificate with Mark for Christmas. They
immediately took me in as I witness they do with all their
clients, and made me feel like a part of
their family. My hair was
in such a state of overprocessing and without delay, Mark took
me in hand and as politely as possible said."I'm going
to fix this".
I walked out of
there a new woman. My hair has NEVER looked
healthier or looked better, ever! People I have known for

consistantly exceeds expectations.
I like
many of their other clients. I am particular in choosing my
doctors, dentists and my haircare professionals. Mark and Ric are
great listeners and very customer focused. Their expansive talents
